What do you think about Big Pharma
Lets talk about this
Pharmaceutical corporations, often referred to as “Big Pharma,” operate within a profit-driven model where financial gain can take precedence over public health. Their revenues grow when populations remain dependent on medications and treatments, which means illness itself becomes a source of enrichment. Instead of prioritizing wellness, many healthcare systems are structured around treating conditions after they arise rather than preventing them in the first place. This imbalance creates a cycle where prevention arguably the most effective and humane approach to reducing disease is underfunded, undervalued, and overshadowed by the lucrative business of treatment. Tragically, countless deaths each year could be avoided through stronger investment in preventive care, public health education, and accessible early interventions. Yet prevention rarely attracts the same level of attention, research funding, or marketing power as pharmaceuticals, because it does not generate the same immediate profits.
